How to Get To Valemount:

Valemount is located in central British Columbia, Canada on Highway 5 -The Southern Yellowhead Highway. It is 290 kilometers Southeast of Prince George, 320 kilometers north of Kamloops and 123 kilometers from Jasper, Alberta. Travel to Valemount, BC is via car or RV, Greyhound bus and by passenger train. If you’d rather fly in, the local airstrip in Valemount can accommodate small jets and heli transfers. The closest commercial airport is in Prince George, only 295 km (183 mi) away, or Kamloops 322 km (200 mi) south. To fully experience our region, travel by car or RV is recommended!!!

Local Parks:

Starratt Wildlife Sanctuary within town limits. 

   Mount Robson Provincial Park  40 kilometres outside of town. Home of the famous Mount Robson marathon.

 

 

Jasper National Park  120 Km to the East of Valemount lies Jasper National Park.
